More than six decades of service
Established in 1959, the Tanzania Society for the Blind is committed to promoting the dignity, independence, and inclusion of blind and visually impaired people in Tanzania. Through education, eye care, rehabilitation, and community engagement, TSB works to create opportunities that help individuals achieve their full potential.

- Eye Care & Vision HealthPromoting eye health awareness, early identification of vision problems, and access to appropriate eye care services.
- Inclusive EducationSupporting children and young people with visual impairments to access, participate in, and benefit from education.
- Rehabilitation & Independent LivingBuilding the skills, confidence, and self-reliance people need to move, work, and live independently.
- Braille & Accessible LearningChampioning Braille, tactile learning, audio resources, and accessible formats as keys to literacy and information.
- Community Outreach & AwarenessWorking with families and communities to reduce stigma and promote understanding of blindness and visual impairment.
